Tips for choosing the right color shade: Opt for a shade the same height as your natural hair color, darker than your natural hair color, and up to two shades lighter than your natural hair color. On colored hair, you can only choose a shade of the same or darker tone. If your hair has just been permed or straightened, wait at least two weeks before coloring it. Do not use the product on hair colored with henna or metallic dyes. If your hair is more than 70% gray and is difficult to color, choose a shade one shade darker than the desired result.
