Ecological and natural degreasers
Cleaning and degreasing has never been so green. Even against the most stubborn stains and dirt, Yumibio has selected non-polluting, non-toxic but delicate and effective degreasers. Their formulas include natural surfactants and powerful sanitizing ingredients that are gentle on the skin, such as bicarbonate, vinegar, lemon or tea tree oil.
The common degreaser? Better the organic degreaser!
The degreasers commonly on the market are based on aggressive chemical substances, highly polluting for the environment, not compatible with aquatic life, toxic for our health both by contact and inhalation. Among the non-ionic surfactants, i.e. synthetic and petroleum-derived, we find ethanolamine (or monoethanolamine, sometimes abbreviated to MEA, also called colamine), polluting and toxic, it can release nitrosamines which are carcinogenic, perfume allergens, chemical dyes, synthetic polymers and last but not least, heavy metal chelators.
The massive use of chelators in conventional detergents has created environmental problems in water and the phenomenon of eutrophication, an abnormal proliferation of plant biomass, microalgae with harmful consequences for the aquatic environment.
The alternative: organic degreasers
They are effective and gentle degreasers, non-polluting and non-toxic.
Their formulas include natural surfactants and powerful sanitizing ingredients that are gentle on the skin and the environment, such as bicarbonate, vinegar, lemon, or the miraculous tea tree oil.
As always, we pay attention to the eco-cheats that we unfortunately find on many shelves, where we may find a formulation declared with a percentage of 99% of natural origin... but it is not so!
