Spongella S - Menstrual Sponge 4/5 cm

The Spongella S - Menstrual Sponge 4/5 cm by Cose della Natura is a natural, soft and hypoallergenic tampon with great absorbency designed for a light flow.

It can also be used during sexual intercourse, reusable for 3 to 6 months.

How to use Spongella S - Menstrual Sponge 4/5 cm by Cose della Natura

Before using it for the first time, wash it carefully to remove any small impurities or sand residues that may have remained following the manufacturing process.

Leave for a few minutes in water and a spoonful of vinegar to adjust the pH. Rinse.

Squeeze and using two fingers insert, pushing towards the cervix.

To remove it, use two fingers, contracting and pushing a little with the pelvic floor to facilitate its extraction.

Always use a wet sponge first and then wrung out.

On days with heavier flow, wash the sponge every 3 hours or so. Later you can extend the time, depending on your needs, up to a maximum of 6 hours.

If the chosen size is too large and causes discomfort, it is possible to shape the sponge with small scissors, making small, gradual cuts, taking great care not to damage its structure.

Please note: the sponge should be used only during menstruation and not in case of small losses.

After use, wash the sponge only with natural soaps and warm water, rinsing off any residue thoroughly.

First rinse it with cold water to avoid blood clotting and then with lukewarm water together with a gentle, non-chemical soap.

At the end of each of the two procedures, always remember to rinse the sponge well, wring it out and let it dry in a ventilated and dry place. (You can conveniently place it on a small plate).
