Phitofilos Katam Powder is a powder originally from Yemen, where it has always been used to darken hair, like indigo.
While indigo gives hair blue-black highlights, Katam has purple-black highlights and is therefore used to give hair a chocolate color - if used alone - or to obtain plum shades if added to henna.
The powder is fine so that it is perfectly spreadable and creamy once mixed with warm water or infusions.
How to use Phitofilos Katam Powder
Mix the required amount of powder (depending on the amount of hair) with hot water or black tea until you get a creamy paste. Leave it for 1-2 hours.
Apply to lightly cleansed and slightly damp hair, with a brush or with your hands, taking care to wear gloves if necessary to avoid dyeing.
Leave on for 40 to 80 minutes and proceed with normal washing with Shampoo and Conditioner. After the expected time, rinse thoroughly first with warm water and then possibly perform a light pass of shampoo until the water no longer contains colored residues.
