Sage oil is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves of the sage shrub.
The color is pale yellow-green and the aroma is intensely spicy; sometimes you can also perceive the smell of camphor.
Sage oil is often added to soaps and perfumes due to its pleasant fragrance.
It has antioxidant properties and can therefore be used as an anti-aging and skin care product thanks to its positive effect against scars and stretch marks.
Sage oil is also very useful for hair care; it can be safely added to toners or conditioners in cases of thinning hair, graying or excessive sebum.
On small wounds it can help prevent inflammation or irritation.
