It is obtained from the steam distillation of cinnamon bark. It has a reddish-brown color and a warm, spicy aroma.

This oil is often used in the production of creams and soaps.

It is particularly used in case of abdominal disorders, but also for rheumatic problems and kidney disorders.

Ancient Egyptians used cinnamon for relaxing foot massages.
