Cajeput essential oil is native to Australia and is widely used in deodorants. It is obtained by steam distillation of cajeput and has a clear straw yellow color and a pleasant fresh scent reminiscent of eucalyptus and camphor, but also has fruity notes.
This oil facilitates breathing and relieves coughs, better than eucalyptus, reduces headaches and fatigue, and purifies the air. Able to relieve muscle, joint, and rheumatic pain, its astringent effect is particularly beneficial for oily skin. It is an excellent opponent of fleas in our pets. Cajeput essential oil can irritate the skin and should never be used unless previously diluted.
Caution: May irritate skin and mucous membranes. Do not use if you have kidney or liver disease. Do not use if you are pregnant.
