Alkanet Powder

Phitofilos Alkanet Powder is a powder that gives hair reddish-purple tones.

Its coloring power is best exploited when used together with other dyeing herbs (especially with Red Henna), in this way, it manages to confer its red-purple pigment, excellent for accentuating the tones of mahogany and cold reds.

How to use Phitofilos Alkanna Powder

Mix the necessary amount of powder (depending on the amount of hair) with hot water, until you obtain a paste with the consistency of a cream that can be applied to the hair.

In an acidic environment it gives a red-mahogany tint while in an alkaline environment it takes on colder, blue/purple tones.

Depending on the results you want to achieve, you must choose the right vehicle, acidic (water and vinegar, lemon, etc.) or alkaline (water with a pinch of baking soda).

Alkanet provides a light purple coverage on the hair's keratin.

If used together with lawsonia powder (red henna), even with the addition of hibiscus or madder or sandalwood, it leads to visible reflecting results even on white hair that veers towards cold red tones.

Leave on for 40 to 80 minutes and proceed with normal washing with Shampoo and Conditioner. After the expected time, rinse thoroughly first with warm water and then possibly perform a light pass of shampoo until the water no longer contains colored residues.
