The Curly Girl Method is a real manual for girls with curly and wavy hair!
The Curly Girl Method: The Method for Perfect Curls
Its creator is Lorraine Massey who explains in her book step by step how to take the best care of curly hair!
Let's discover this method!
I'll just tell you in advance that... down with silicones and parabens!
The basic principle is that curly hair must be cared for in the best possible way and with natural products , of course, even straight girls but for a curly one it is essential for the aesthetic result.
Ok, let's get started!
The Last Shampoo and the Goodbyes
Of course you will still wash your hair but prepare to say goodbye to ordinary shampoo.
If you are a user of conventional products and have done your last styling with non-natural products, do your last shampoo with your usual product.
Now say goodbye to it and never use it again.
Get ready to say goodbye to all the hair products that live in your bathroom that are alcohol-based, contain silicones, parabens and sulfates.
If you have very damaged hair, give it a good cut! No fear! A goodbye to them too and new life to your hair!
New life for curls: let's start putting The Curly Girl Method into practice.
You've already said goodbye to shampoo and other hair products you usually use.
1 STEP Today you will wash your hair with co-washing.
Co-what? Co-washing, or conditioner-washing!
A natural eco-bio conditioner is used, therefore always without silicones, parabens, alcohol instead of shampoo.
The Yuniwa Cosmetics Strengthening Cowash is perfect, a specific product for delicate cleansing of the scalp and hair, also suitable for frequent washing, which leaves hair clean, soft and light.
Take a small amount of product and massage the skin with your fingertips, rinse.
2 STEP Now it's time for the natural mask!
Later on, the mask can be replaced with a shorter application of conditioner to detangle and hydrate your hair.
The Yuniwa Cosmetic Strengthening Mask is a nourishing and disciplinary treatment with an acid pH for wavy and curly hair: leave it on and comb your hair. Rinse, possibly with cold water, but without completely eliminating the conditioner or mask in place, so it will continue its hydrating work.
Now, with your hair still wet, and absolutely without towel drying it, start with the LOC method styling.
3 STEP Styling LOC method: Liquid Oil Cream
LOC or Liquid Oil Cream: you will use a natural Liquid or Gel, Oil and Cream.
This way you get super hydration because the gel or water and the cream are retained by the oil.
We first put a gel or if we prefer we keep only the water as liquid on the hair just washed.
A great LOC combination is

After distributing your products, now pat your hair dry with a microfiber towel or even better, an old t-shirt!
Cotton towels absorb too much water and produce static electricity.
After 5 minutes you can start drying your hair!
4 STEP Dry your hair
The ideal is to let them dry completely naturally in the air but this is not very comfortable or healthy for those who suffer from cervical pain, for example.
A good compromise could be to leave them to air for five or ten minutes and then move on to the diffuser.
Pay attention to the temperature: warm air, not hot.
Once you've finished drying them, turn them upside down and massage your scalp vigorously: it will give you volume!
If you're going to sleep, use a beautiful silk pillowcase to wake up with perfect hair!
