This hydrosol is derived through steam distillation of dried lemongrass leaves. The floral water has a lemony scent which is milder and sweeter than lemon. It is effective as a refreshing and astringent toner for oily or acne prone skin, helping to regulate sebum production, minimize pores and reduce the formation of acne and blackheads.

The Lemongrass Hydrolsol can also be used on the body and scalp. Hair is left feeling soft and shiny when added to rinsing water. The floral water is well suited as a natural fragrance or after shave mist. It helps reduce unpleasant odours and is an excellent insect repellent. Spray on a tissue and used as a hand sanitizer or refreshing wipe. Lemongrass has a soothing effect and can thus be used to cleanse the air.
