How to use the Spongella S-Menstrual Sponge 4/5 cm of Nature Things

On first use wash carefully to remove any small impurities or sand residues that may have remained as a result of the working process.

Leave for a few minutes in water and a tablespoon of vinegar to adjust the ph.

Squeeze and with the help of two fingers insert pushing towards the cervix.

To remove it use two fingers by contracting and pushing a little with the pelvic floor to facilitate extraction.

Always use the sponge first wet and then wrung out.

On days of more intense flow, wash the sponge every 3h or so. Later you can lengthen, depending on the need, the time up to a maximum of 6 hours.

If the size chosen should be too large and cause discomfort is possible, shape the sponge with scissors proceeding with small gradual cuts, being very careful not to ruin the structure.

Note: the sponge should only be used on days of menstruation and not in case of small leaks.

After use wash the sponge only with natural soaps and warm water, rinsing off any residue well.

First rinse it with cold water to prevent blood clotting and then with the most lukewarm water together with a mild, non-chemical soap.

At the end of each of the two procedures always remember to rinse the sponge well, squeeze it and let it dry in a ventilated and not damp place. (You can comfortably place it on a saucer).
