It is obtained by cold pressing of the orange peel.

The oil has an orange color and a fresh, citric fragrance that in fact resembles that of the orange peel, but is much more intense.

It is considered effective against depression, as an antispasmodic, and as an aphrodisiac, carminative, stimulant, deodorant, and tonic.

It is also used for colds, constipation, flatulence, influenza, and excessive stress.

In cosmetics, this oil is considered useful to revitalize dull, tired skin.
