Face cream

Organic face cream is a product that cannot be missing from your skincare routine! On Yumibio you have a wide choice of organic face creams that are hydrating or nourishing , full-bodied or light but always with natural, safe and certified ingredients.

In our selection you will find your new cheap organic face cream , but also a face cream with hyaluronic acid and the best organic face creams for oily skin , dry skin, sensitive skin but also anti-wrinkle creams to treat your skin by fighting the signs of aging.

When to apply face cream?

It is advisable to apply it in the morning and in the evening before going to sleep.

In the evening, it is important to remove any make-up or dirt residue from the face using a specific make-up remover . Then, cleanse your face with a delicate, purifying or rebalancing cleanser , depending on the needs of your skin. Cleansing with warm water is recommended because cold water prevents pores from dilating, while hot water tends to dry out your face.

Finally, a targeted toner is used to rebalance the skin's pH and prepare the skin to receive the active ingredients of the face cream. With the skin clean, fresh and ready, the Face Cream is applied.

The Day Cream that you are going to apply in the morning must have a light and easily absorbed base , it must be a cream that protects the skin from atmospheric agents and pollution.

The Night Cream to be applied in the evening must have a more nourishing and rich base.

How to apply Face Cream

The Face Cream should be applied on dry skin, being a water-based emulsion, since the application on damp skin could dilute the active ingredients and reduce their effectiveness.

On the market we find face creams contained in jars or airless packaging, the latter more convenient, practical and hygienic. If the cream is contained in a jar , it is advisable to remove it with a spatula to avoid bacterial contamination of the product.

A small amount is enough to spread on the face with perfectly clean hands.

Langer Lines and Massage with Face Cream

The Face Cream should be applied starting from the five focal points - forehead, nose, chin, cheeks and neck - following the Langer lines.

Langer's lines are virtual lines (identified in 1861 by Karl Langer) where the skin is more taut and resistant that go from the center to the outside. These lines should be considered in our beauty routine both when we remove makeup and when we apply cosmetic or makeup treatments.

The neck is the starting point, where an open-hand massage is performed, stimulating a light pressure that allows the drainage of liquids. It is massaged from the area below the earlobes, up to the shoulders. Then the central part of the neck is massaged from the clavicles to the chin.

The face should be massaged from the bottom up, with light movements made with the fingertips without ever pressing too much, following this order:

The starting point on the face is the chin, from which you move up to the earlobes and the outer corners of the mouth to the ears.

Start from the center of the nose towards the temples. From the upper lips or corners of the mouth towards the sides of the tip of the nose, in order to prevent nasolabial folds.

We spread the face cream on the forehead area starting from the eyebrows to the hairline. And on the sides of the forehead starting from the center towards the temples.

A massage that should be done slowly , allowing yourself a few minutes of complete relaxation to pamper your skin and ourselves!

The eye contour area , which is more delicate and thin, should be treated with specific products and delicately tapping with the pad of the ring finger , the finger that has less strength and exerts less pressure.

The eye contour cream is applied first on the upper eyelid - not on the mobile eyelid but under the eyebrow arch - and massaged from the inner corner to the outer corner and then on the lower eyelid it is massaged from the outer corner to the inner corner without getting too close to the inner rim of the eye.
